ETANA WINS BEST CULTURAL ARTISTE @ TEEN CHOICE AWARD

Promising roots/reggae singer Etana was finally acknowledged for her year long dominance in reggae music at the inaugural TeenAge Choice Awards hosted on Oct 26th at the Pegasus Hotel. The awards which represent the choice of the average everyday teen launched out with 23 diverse categories that spanned everything from Entertainment & Sports to Fashion & Food, teenagers across the island spoke and the awardees were named based on votes via text messaging. The stunning young vocalist who just recently shot a video for her latest single Warrior Love was nominated in two categories. In the Female Artist of the Year category Etana was welcomed alongside the likes of Tessanne Chin, Macka Diamond & Alaine while in the Best Cultural Artiste category Etana took home the award ahead of Tanya Stephens, Queen Ifrica and Tarrus Riley. Graceful in all her glory Etana was overjoyed but humble in receiving the Best Cultural Artiste Award, her first award of this magnitude.
